The San Francisco 49ers will go a third straight week without left tackle Trent Williams (ankle), who is ruled out of the team's Week 14 matchup versus the Chicago Bears after missing a full week of practice. Williams suffered an ankle injury coming out of San Francisco's battle with the Seahawks that has kept him off the field.
The outlook for another important pair of 49ers starters seems a bit more optimistic with defensive lineman Nick Bosa (hip/oblique) earning a "doubtful" designation and fourth-year guard Aaron Banks (concussion) labeled as "questionable" headed into the weekend. Head coach Kyle Shanahan noted that Bosa "did a little bit more" this week while Banks still has benchmarks to hit in order to clear concussion protocol.
