George Kittle, Deebo Samuel Sr. Questionable for Week 8 vs. Cowboys; Injury Report #DALvsSF

The San Francisco 49ers are trending in the right direction health wise as they prepare to host the Dallas Cowboys for "Sunday Night Football." At the start of the week, the 49ers had an injury list that had a total of nine players either sitting out practice or working out in a limited capacity. On Friday, that list leveled out with four players limited - TE George Kittle (foot), WR Deebo Samuel Sr. (wrist/illness), DB Deommodore Lenoir (illness) and S George Odum (knee) - and another four upgraded to full participants.

Samuel Sr., who was hospitalized with pneumonia earlier in the week, was able to jump in the final two workouts of the week and will head into the weekend as questionable to play.

"It's gotten better each day," head coach Kyle Shanahan said when asked about his wide receiver's stamina. "We didn't push him that hard knowing what the issue is, but it has gotten better each day. That's why I'm hoping that continues for Sunday."

Kittle (foot), the team's reception yards leader from Week 7, was also listed as questionable, and similarly to Samuel Sr., was able to participate in practice in a limited capacity both Thursday and Friday.
