Ricky Pearsall Expected to be Activated vs. Chiefs; Injury Report #KCvsSF

The San Francisco 49ers are set to welcome back wide receiver Ricky Pearsall (chest) in Week 7 versus the Kansas City Chiefs. Pearsall, who was the victim of an armed robbery attempt at the end of August, started the year on the Non-Football Injury list after suffering a gunshot wound in the incident. He had his practice window opened Monday, and per head coach Kyle Shanahan, the official roster move will take place on Saturday.

"The guys are pumped (to have Ricky back)," Shanahan said. "He's been around the guys for a while now, so it's not like he hasn't been around. He's been practicing all week. It's been great to see him out there. I think the guys are really happy for him that he can get back and be part of it. He's had a hell of a week, and we're just pumped to get him out there with us."

As San Francisco gears up for Pearsall return, they're also preparing to be without star wideout Jauan Jennings (hip) who was sidelined for three-straight practices. Jennings was officially declared out of Sunday's contest on the team's final injury report of the week. Fortunately for the 49ers, that's the only big name missing on offense this week. Per Shanahan, running back Jordan Mason (shoulder) is "full-go" as is wide receiver Deebo Samuel Sr. (wrist) after spending a majority of the week as limited participants and in blue non-contact jerseys. Both players were upgraded to full participants in time for Friday's practice.
