Spencer Burford OUT, Colton McKivitz Questionable vs. Lions; Injury Report Ahead of #DETvsSF

The San Francisco 49ers will head into a rematch of last season's NFC Championship Game versus the Detroit Lions with a reworked offensive line. Just two of the red and gold's Week 1 starters - right guard Dominick Puni and center Jake Brendel - are fully good to go for the team's final home game of the season. Injuries have hit the trenches hard in the second half of the 2024 campaign, and the recent set of O-linemen sidelined on account of injuries includes left guard Aaron Banks (knee), left tackle Jaylon Moore (quad) and left tackle Trent Williams (ankle). Moore and Williams landed on the Injured Reserve list this week while Banks has been officially shutdown for the last couple games of the year, per head coach Kyle Shanahan.

The 49ers will also have to overcome a calf injury to offensive lineman Spencer Burford, who filled in at left tackle last week. Burford was ruled out of the Week 17 matchup on Saturday while starting right tackle Colton McKivitz (knee) enters the weekend as questionable. On a positive note, running back Isaac Guerendo (foot, hamstring) who missed last weekend's game against the Miami Dolphins has fallen off the injury report altogether.

Below is the complete Week 17 Game Status Report for Saturday:
