Bosa Secures Third-Most Sacks in Franchise History; Stats and Facts from #SFvsMIN

  • With three players amassing triple-digit stats (quarterback Brock Purdy (319 passing yards), running back Jordan Mason (100 rushing yards) and wide receiver Deebo Samuel Sr. (110 receiving yards)), the 49ers finished with a 300-yard passer, a 100-yard rusher and a 100-yard receiver in the same game for the first time since Week 14 of the 2023 season.

  • Sunday's game versus the Minnesota Vikings marked George Kittle's 100th-career game. With 76 receiving yards on the day, Kittle now has 6,390 career receiving yards. His 6,390 receiving yards surpass Hall of Fame tight end Kellen Winslow for the third-most receiving yards by a tight end in his first 100 career games in NFL history.
  • With seven receptions on the day, Kittle now has 471 receptions in 100 career games. His 471 receptions surpass former tight end Rob Gronkowski for the fifth-most receptions by a tight end in his first 100 career games in NFL history.
  • Samuel Sr. caught eight receptions for 110 yards, marking his 14th career game with 100-or-more receiving yards.
  • Sunday's game marked Mason's second career start. With 147 rushing yards last week versus the New York Jets and 100 rushing yards against the Vikings, Mason has registered the most rushing yards by a 49ers player in their first two career starts in franchise history.

Defensive Highlights

  • Linebacker Fred Warner registered a team-high nine tackles, two forced fumbles, two pass breakups and an interception on the day. His interception marked the ninth of his career.
  • With two pass breakups on the day, Warner now has 48 career passes defensed, which are the second-most by a linebacker in franchise history.
  • With two forced fumbles on the day, Warner now has three forced fumbles this season and 14 in his career, which is the second-most in franchise history.
  • Warner's three forced fumbles through the first two games of the season are the most by a player in franchise history. He joins linebacker Foye Oluokun (2020) and cornerback Charles Woodson (2002) as the only players in NFL history to register three-or-more forced fumbles through the first two games of a season.
  • With one forced fumble last week versus the Jets and two forced fumbles on the day, it marked the first time in Warner's career that he has registered one-or-more forced fumbles in consecutive games.
  • Defensive lineman Nick Bosa registered five tackles and 2.0 sacks of Vikings quarterback Sam Darnold. His sacks of Darnold marked his first two of the season and gave him 55.5 in his career.
  • Bosa now has 12 career games with 2.0-or-more sacks. Sunday marked his first multi-sack game since he had 2.0 sacks since Week 12 of last season.
  • Bosa's 55.5 sacks are the third-most in franchise history.

  • Kicket Jake Moody converted on a 31-yard field goal attempt and made both of his extra point attempts.
  • With six field goals made last week against the Jets and one field goal made in Week 2, Moody has tied former kicker Bruce Gossett for the most field goals made in the first two games of a season in franchise history.
