Defensive Highlights

• Defensive lineman Jordan Elliott blocked a 45-yard Cardinals field goal attempt, which was recovered by cornerback Deommodore Lenoir and returned 61 yards for a touchdown.
• It marked the first blocked field goal attempt by the 49ers since former defensive lineman Javon Kinlaw blocked a 47-yard field goal attempt in Week 2 of the 2021 season.
• It also marked the first time the 49ers returned a blocked field goal attempt for a touchdown since former defensive lineman Ray McDonald blocked a 44-yard field goal attempt that was returned 59 yards for a touchdown by former cornerback Nate Clements versus the Minnesota Vikings in Week 3 of the 2009 season.
