The San Francisco 49ers will have their starting quarterback under center for their snowy "Sunday Night Football" showdown versus the Buffalo Bills. Brock Purdy is back in the lineup after missing the team's Week 12 matchup due to a shoulder injury he suffered against the Seattle Seahawks the week prior. Despite entering the weekend as questionable, Purdy was able to participate in full on Friday and spoke confidently that same day about being able to play with his team in primetime.
"If I'm out there playing, which is the plan, then I'll be able to make every throw that we have drawn up," Purdy said on Friday. "I wouldn't go out there and play not (at) 100 percent. I want to go out there feeling really good and have the confidence to make every throw, so that's the plan."
Purdy will be protected by an offensive line that has been hit by the injury bug as of late. Starters on the left side of his O-line - tackle Trent Williams (ankle) and guard Aaron Banks (concussion) - are both out for this game, and it will be offensive lineman Ben Bartch and tackle Jaylon Moore filling in for them on Sunday night.
