The San Francisco 49ers will take on the Dallas Cowboys in Week 8 for an NFC Showdown on NBC's "Sunday Night Football."

Here's what to look for during the 49ers primetime contest at Levi's® Stadium:

Throwbacks are Back

The 49ers will don their classic red throwback uniforms in primetime as they face off against their storied NFC rivals. These beloved throwback jerseys, featuring white numbers with black drop shadows, honor the uniforms worn by the 1994 49ers during their iconic Super Bowl run.

Color Guard

Presenting our nation's colors ahead of kickoff will be the United Fire Service Women. The organization is an employee group of the San Francisco Fire Department founded shortly after women entered the department in 1987. Today, the San Francisco Fire Department has one of the country's largest populations of women firefighters. Their mission is to support and advocate for the welfare of women in the San Francisco Fire Department, create a network of women in the fire service and ensure a diverse and unified department that represents the city they serve.

National Anthem

The national anthem will be performed by John Glosson. A soulful Southern vocalist celebrated for his vibrant interpretations of ballads and worship songs, brings classic tunes to new audiences. Glosson has been a standout on competition shows, he reached Hollywood on "American Idol" and competed on ABC's "Duets," where he partnered with Jennifer Nettles of Sugarland. Inspired by his pastor father, he developed his vocal skills through church and school music programs and studied vocal performance, where he was a member of The Sounds of Liberty.

Halftime Show

Northern California native and Country music superstar Nate Smith will be taking the stage for the Sunday night's halftime entertainment presented by Levi's®. Smith has rapidly gained recognition, with nearly 2 billion career streams and three multi-week No. 1 hits: "Whiskey on You," "World on Fire," and "Bulletproof." He has received multiple gold and platinum records, sold-out shows nationwide and nominations for best new artist from major awards like the Country Music Awards, Academy of Country Music Awards and Country Music Television. Recently, he was named ACM New Male Artist of the Year and Billboard's Rookie of the Year for 2024. His sophomore album, California Gold, debuted in the Top 15 on Billboard's Country Albums Chart. Smith recently wrapped a stadium tour with Morgan Wallen and is currently on his Through The Smoke World Tour, running through the end of 2024.

National Tight Ends Day

In Week 8, the NFL will be celebrating National Tight Ends Day, a special occasion that started in The Bay back in 2018. The NFL uses the annual holiday to highlight tight ends across the league. While "The People's Tight End" George Kittle appreciates the official designation from the league, he thinks tight ends are worth honoring year-round.

"In my opinion, every day is National Tight Ends Day," Kittle said.
