The San Francisco 49ers today announced they have signed WR Ricky Pearsall to a four-year deal. With the signing, the 49ers now have all eight of the team's 2024 draft picks under contract.
Pearsall (6-1, 189) was selected by the 49ers as the 31st overall pick in this year's NFL Draft out of the University of Florida. He appeared in 55 games (36 starts) over five seasons at Arizona State (2019-21) and Florida (2022-23) and registered 159 receptions for 2,240 yards and 14 touchdowns through the air to go along with 21 carries for 253 yards and 5 touchdowns on the ground. In 2023, he started 12 games and registered a team-high 65 catches for 965 yards and four touchdowns through the air and three carries for 62 yards and two touchdowns on the ground. In 2022, he appeared in 13 games (10 starts) and finished with 33 receptions for 661 yards and five touchdowns as well as eight rushes for 113 yards and one touchdown. In 2021 at Arizona State, he appeared in 13 games (11 starts) and totaled 48 receptions for 580 yards and a team-high four touchdowns while registering six carries for 51 yards and one touchdown. He appeared in all four games of the shortened 2020 COVID-19 season and registered six receptions for 86 yards and one touchdown through the air to go along with three carries for 33 yards and one touchdown on the ground. As a true freshman in 2019, he appeared in all 13 games and registered seven receptions for 128 yards.
A 23-year-old native of Phoenix, AZ, Pearsall attended Corona del Sol (AZ) High School.
