WWE Star Bayley Cheers on 49ers at Training Camp | Off the Field

The WWE's Women's Champion, Bayley, made a special appearance at the San Francisco 49ers Training Camp to show her love to the team ahead of the 2024 season. Under the radiant California sun, Bayley soaked in her very first training camp experience.

"I'm so glad that I get to be out here and watching open practice gets me excited to come watch games at the stadium," Bayley said.

The WWE Superstar is a lifelong fan of the 49ers, and in her visit to 49ers Camp, she reminisced about her early days growing up in San Jose, California.

"The first thing I can remember from being a kid is getting one of those old-school Niner satin jackets at a Goodwill because I just loved the way it looked. My dad thought I was into football, so we started watching games together," Bayley said. "It wasn't really until the stadium was built about 10 years ago that I started going to the games. I really got attached then. I love the atmosphere – I played sports growing up, and as a wrestler, I can relate so much to watching the guys go out there and give everything. It's just exciting to be a part of, and we have the best team. I mean, come on, it's easy to cheer for these guys."

Bayley is no stranger to the challenges of training and competition as a WWE Superstar, and had a great appreciation for the work the team was putting in on the field of the SAP Performance Facility. After watching 49ers tight end George Kittle and wide receiver Deebo Samuel Sr. in the newly-released Netflix series Receiver, she noticed a few parallels between the NFL and WWE worlds.

"How they prepare for their games and spend time with their families, it really relates to our lifestyle as WWE Superstars, our life on the road and how we prepare for matches. Although we're not out in the sun like this, I've got to give them props for being out here and practicing in front of crowds people. It's a lot of pressure," Bayley said. "It makes me proud to be from here and represent the Bay Area. I feel like I'm slowly inching my way into being part of the family."

As she continues to make waves in the WWE, Bayley shared her enthusiasm for the 49ers in the upcoming season.

"We're looking good," she said. "If you thought last year was good, you're going to be excited to see the rest of the season."
