Need some words of encouragement? How about from two adorable puppy characters?
San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy got a surprise call from Chase and Rubble of Nickelodeon's PAW Patrol in a heartwarming new video that's sure to lift anyone's spirits.
In the latest installment of PAW Patrol's "PupTalk" campaign, the cartoon puppies share some words of encouragement with Purdy.
"I'm just really feeling the pressure today," Purdy tells the pups. Chase and Rubble immediately jump in to help turn Purdy's doubts into confidence. Then, they "do the thing" – the "thing" being PAW Patrol's signature howl of encouragement, getting Purdy to join in.
"Thanks for the 'PupTalk,' it feels good to let it out," Purdy said.
This surprise "PupTalk" is part of a broader campaign by PAW Patrol, where the pups are reaching out to some of the biggest stars to offer some uplifting support. In addition to Purdy, last week Grammy Award-winning artist Meghan Trainor received a call from Chase and Rubble, and up next is Emmy-winning actor and comedian Kenan Thompson. The campaign will culminate with a special segment on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on December 18.
"PAW Patrol is a household name," Spin Master President of Toys Doug Wadleigh said. "Our pups and their adventure-filled stories reinforce problem-solving and self-belief. With this campaign, we aimed to extend our reach beyond family rooms and playrooms, transporting the pups into pop culture moments and delivering their signature paws-itivity to some prominent personalities."
