The San Francisco 49ers selected South Florida linebacker Aaron Lynch with the 150th overall selection in the fifth round of the 2014 NFL Draft.
The 6-foot-5, 249-pound collegiate defensive end will play outside linebacker for the 49ers.
Lynch began his career at Notre Dame and finished his final year of college at USF. Lynch totaled 29 tackles, 11.5 tackles-for-less and five sacks in 10 starts last season.
Here's the scouting report on the USF product courtesy of NFL.com:
Outstanding size and body length. Flashes some playmaking ability. Deceptive strength to leverage the edge. Has a giant wingspan and can corral ball carriers.
