The San Francisco 49ers offseason program is set to begin at the end of the month, but if you've spent some time on social media these past couple months, you've seen several players putting in the work from all around the country.
Wide receiver Jauan Jennings and running back Isaac Guerendo are the two players that have most recently checked in from their offseason training sessions. Jennings' independent wide receivers coach David Robinson dropped footage of him running through cone drills and catching passes earlier this week.
Jennings is entering his sixth season with the team and coming off a career-year in 2024. The veteran wideout finished second on the team in receiving yards behind All-Pro tight end George Kittle, recording 77 receptions for 975 yards and six touchdowns last season.
On Thursday, Guerendo was seen training alongside some big names in 49ers Hall of Fame running back Frank Gore and Indianapolis Colts star running back Jonathan Taylor. Complete Athlete Academy posted footage of the three running backs going through footwork exercises and pushing sleds.
Last season, the Guerendo was an important piece of the 49ers running back rotation following injuries to both Christian McCaffrey and Jordan Mason. The rookie running back started three games and logged 84 carries for 420 yards and four touchdowns in addition to catching 17 passes for 162 yards.
