Kyle Juszczyk Hits the Links at the American Century Championship | Off the Field

The scenic shores of Lake Tahoe came alive once again as the American Century Celebrity Golf Championship unfolded at the Edgewood Tahoe Resort. Among the star-studded lineup, AP First-Team All-Pro fullback Kyle Juszczyk made his debut appearance at the tournament. Juszczyk brought his competitive edge to the golf course alongside iconic 49ers alumni including Steve Young and Jerry Rice.

"It's incredible," Juszczyk said. "Lake Tahoe is one of my favorite places on Earth, and I've traveled all over. I think it's just absolutely beautiful here. I'm stoked to be here."

Other celebrities competing in this year's championship event included NFL stars such as Travis and Jason Kelce, Davante Adams, Aaron Rodgers, John Elway and Marcus Allen. Icons from around the sports world including NBA Hall of Famers Charles Barkley and Vince Carter, Olympic Silver Medalist Mardy Fish, Hall of Fame Pitcher John Smoltz, 10-time LPGA Major Champion Annika Sorenstam and NHL All-Star Matthew Tkachuk also participated in the tournament. Entertainment celebrities such as Brian Baumgartner, Don Cheadle, Carson Daly, Chris Harrison, Colin Jost, Michael Peña, Alfonso Ribeiro and Miles Teller also competed with the athletes over the weekend.

While on the course, Juszczyk took a moment to appreciate the opportunity to share the course with 49ers stars like Young and Rice.

"I love seeing Steve and Jerry," Juszczyk said. "You always got to pay it forward to the Niner legends."

Juszczyk and Rice tied at 64th place and Young finished at the 68th position out of 90 total participants on the 72 par, 6,709 yard course. As the fullback wrapped up his offseason activities, he shared his anticipation for the upcoming NFL season.

"I'm extremely excited," Juszczyk said. "I love the team we have. We're revamped and ready to do this thing again."
