The San Francisco 49ers announced on Friday they have signed DL Damontre Moore to a one-year deal.
Moore (6-4, 260) was originally drafted by the New York Giants in the third round (81st overall) of the 2013 NFL Draft. Throughout his six-year career with the Giants (2013-15), Miami Dolphins (2015), Seattle Seahawks (2016), Dallas Cowboys (2017) and Oakland Raiders (2018), he has appeared in 54 games and registered 63 tackles, 10.0 sacks, four passes defensed and two forced fumbles.
Last season, he was signed by the Raiders on December 4, 2018, appeared in two games with the team and registered one tackle prior to being waived on December 24, 2018. He later signed with the San Diego Fleet of the Alliance of American Football (AAF) where he recorded 22 tackles, 7.0 sacks and one fumble recovery.
A 26-year-old native of Rowlett, TX, Moore attended Texas A&M University (2010-12), where he appeared in 38 games (23 starts) and registered 197 tackles, 26.5 sacks, 45 tackles for a loss, eight forced fumbles and one interception.
