The San Francisco 49ers had four players selected to the 2020 Pro Bowl in Orlando, FL. DL Nick Bosa, FB Kyle Juszczyk, TE George Kittle and CB Richard Sherman were all selected as starters.
In addition, DL Arik Armstead, DL DeForest Buckner, QB Jimmy Garoppolo, RB Raheem Mostert, C/G Weston Richburg, T Joe Staley, DB Jimmie Ward and LB Fred Warner were selected as alternates.
Bosa earns a trip to the Pro Bowl in his rookie season, becoming the first member of the 49ers to accomplish the feat since S Eric Reid made the 2014 Pro Bowl. His 9.0 sacks this season are tied for the 11th-most in the NFC this season, and second among all rookies. He has also registered 41 tackles (16 tackles for loss), three passes defensed and one interception.
A seven-year veteran who signed with the 49ers as a free agent in 2017, Juszczyk is making his fourth-consecutive trip to the Pro Bowl (2017-20) and third straight as a member of the 49ers. In 10 games played this season (10 starts), he has registered 18 receptions for 167 yards (9.3 average) and one touchdown.
Kittle earns his second trip to the Pro Bowl in his third NFL season (second-consecutive) as he's started all 12 games in which he has appeared and registered 73 receptions for 888 yards (12.2 average) and four touchdowns. His 888 yards on the year rank tied for third in the NFL among tight ends while his 73 receptions are the fourth-most by a tight end this season.
Sherman earns his fifth trip to the Pro Bowl and his first as a member of the 49ers. In 13 starts this season, he has registered 53 tackles, 11 passes defensed and three interceptions (one returned for a touchdown). His three interceptions this season ranked tied for seventh in the NFC and are the most by a member of the 49ers in a single season since 2015.
