Biography
Was selected by the 49ers in the second round (64th overall) of this year's draft out of Florida State. Appeared in 53 games (32 starts) over five years (2019-23) at Florida State and registered 148 tackles, 22 PDs, 1 INT, 7.0 TFLs, 0.5 sack, and 1 FF. As a redshirt senior in 2023, started in 13 games at CB and notched 43 tackles, an ACC-high 13 PDs and 1 INT, earning Second-Team All-ACC honors. In 2022, appeared in 13 games (12 starts) and tallied 58 tackles and 5 PDs, earning Honorable Mention All-ACC. Appeared in 9 games (2 starts) in 2021 and posted 14 tackles and 1 PD. Started in 5 games during the shortened 2020 COVID-19 season and registered 27 tackles, 1 PD and 1 FF. As a freshman in 2019, appeared in 13 games and recorded 6 tackles and 2 PDs.
