• Outside of football, Josh has a true passion for space exploration and has created a brand for himself, coining the nickname the "The Passtronaut," combining his love for both football and space. During his time in the NFL, Dobbs spent two years (2020-21) with the NASA Kennedy Space Flight Center through the NFLPA's virtual Externship program. This program allows NFL players to explore professional development opportunities, preparing them for life after football.
• Dobbs also has a foundation, The Astorordinary Dobbs Foundation Inc., which has the tagline "The Sky is Not the Limit." The foundation, established in 2022, is dedicated to supporting, encouraging, and inspiring all members of the community, particularly the youth, through educational, economical, professional, and recreational empowerment. "We're promoting my background growing up, which was in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics), aerospace, and aviation." Dobbs said. "So we love giving back to the community itself, who supported me throughout my career starting in Alpharetta, Georgia, to Tennessee and throughout my career, but also just promoting stem engagement, giving back to those less fortunate, and just being involved. It's very important to me to support those communities and to be able to represent my own foundation. It's really cool. As I said, just having the platform, being able to give back."
• In addition to advocating for educational opportunities, Dobbs has been an advocate and strong representation for those with Alopecia Areata, a condition that Dobbs was diagnosed with in the third grade. Alopecia is a condition that affects the hair follicles and, in most cases, leads to hair loss. Dobbs has openly shared his journey with the condition and hopes to inspire others to experience- in the same to be their complete selves and not allow this condition to hinder them from pursuing their dreams.

College

• Dobbs (6-3, 220) was originally drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the fourth round (135th overall) of the 2017 NFL Draft. Throughout his seven-year NFL career with the Steelers (2017-21), Tennessee Titans (2022), Arizona Cardinals (2023) and Minnesota Vikings (2023) he has appeared in 21 games (14 starts) and completed 312 of 502 passing attempts (62.2%) for 2,920 yards and 15 touchdowns. In 2023, Dobbs appeared in a career-high 13 games (12 starts) and completed 262 of 417 passing attempts (62.8%) for 2,464 yards and 13 touchdowns between his time in Arizona and Minnesota.
• A 29-year-old native of Alpharetta, GA, Dobbs attended the University of Tennessee where he appeared in 37 games (35 starts) and completed 614 of 999 passing attempts (61.0%) for 7,138 yards and 53 touchdowns in addition to 438 carries for 2,160 yards and 32 touchdowns. During his collegiate career, Dobbs was named the 2016 AP Second-Team All-SEC recipient.
