With the 184th pick in the 2018 NFL Draft, the San Francisco 49ers selected Florida safety Marcell Harris.
In three seasons at Florida (2014-16), Harris totaled 102 tackles and two interceptions. He missed the entire 2017 season due to a torn Achilles. That said, the 49ers clearly targeted his size. Harris stands 6-foot-1 and has 32-inch arms.
"While the deck is stacked against him, he does have NFL size and he's proven to be a productive special teams contributor while at Florida," said Lance Zierlein on his scouting report of Harris.
Harris is the third defensive back taken by the 49ers this weekend, joining Tarvarius Moore and D.J. Reed.
