- The San Francisco 49ers improved to 21-7 all-time against the Buccaneers, including a 7-4 record on the road.
- The 49ers offense registered 338 total passing yards on the day, marking the unit's most passing yards this season and the most passing yards in a single game since registering 354 passing yards versus the Seattle Seahawks in Week 14 of the 2023 season.

One thing is for sure in 2024 - the San Francisco 49ers rookie class came ready to play.
With early injuries to several of their playmakers, the red and gold has had to lean on its 2024 NFL Draft class early and often. ESPN's Nick Wagoner reported that through the first eight games of the season, first-year players logged 1,665 snaps which is almost as many snaps as last year's draft class recorded during the 2023 regular season (1,760 snaps).

The San Francisco 49ers opened up the second half of the season with familiar faces back in the lineup for the red and gold. Running back Christian McCaffrey (Achilles tendonitis - missed eight games), wide receiver Jauan Jennings (hip - missed two games), and kicker Jake Moody (high ankle sprain - missed three games) were all active for Sunday morning's showdown and provided a nice boost for the team in their first game back from the Bye. Their 23-20 victory gets them up above .500 on the year.
