49ers Re-Sign FB Kyle Juszczyk to Two-Year Deal

The San Francisco 49ers today announced they have re-signed FB Kyle Juszczyk to a two-year deal through the 2026 season.

Juszczyk (6-1, 235) was originally drafted by the Baltimore Ravens in the fourth round (130th overall) of the 2013 NFL Draft and signed with the 49ers as a free agent in 2017. Throughout his 12-year career with the Ravens (2013-16) and 49ers (2017-24), he has appeared in 189 games (142 starts) and registered 67 rushing attempts for 237 yards and six touchdowns as well as 281 receptions for 2,664 yards and 18 touchdowns.

The San Francisco 49ers signed their first wave of free agents shortly after the start of the new league year, bringing in talent from all over the NFL to ready the roster for 2025. As of Tuesday afternoon, the organization has signed a total of nine free agents that include quarterback Mac Jones, tight end Luke Farrell, wide receiver Demarcus Robinson, cornerback Tre Brown, linebacker Luke Gifford, safeties Richie Grant, long snapper Jon Weeks, safety Jason Pinnock, and CB Siran Neal.

With the biggest moves of free agency in the books, the 49ers roster is beginning to take shape. San Francisco was active in the first week, signing key veterans across multiple positions while also parting ways with several contributors, including a blockbuster trade sending WR Deebo Samuel Sr. to the Washington Commanders.

With the draft order now officially set, the 49ers hold 11 selections, including pick No. 11 overall. As experts refine their projections, their consensus is pretty clear: the 49ers could look to reinforce the trenches with a top-tier offensive or defensive lineman in the first round.

Now that compensatory picks have been awarded by the NFL and the new league year has begun, the San Francisco 49ers know exactly how many draft selections they'll have to work with in 2025.

The organization was awarded four compensatory picks on Tuesday and acquired a fifth-round selection in exchange for sending wide receiver Deebo Samuel Sr. to the Washington Commanders on Wednesday to bring their grand total of draft picks to 11. The 49ers are tied with the Baltimore Ravens and Miami Dolphins for the most draft picks this year.
