Shanahan Shares Injury Updates on Floyd, Hufanga and More Following #SFvsLV
Following the conclusion of the preseason slate against the Las Vegas Raiders, head coach Kyle Shanahan offered the following updates on several players with outstanding injuries:
- DL Leonard Floyd suffered a knee injury in the first quarter of Friday's matchup and is day-to-day.
- DL Yetur Gross-Matos also suffered a knee injury early in Friday's preseason finale and will be week-to-week. The head coach noted that there has not been discussion of the Injured Reserve list when it comes to Gross-Matos and that the hope is "... he'll have a chance to get back in practice next week for Week One."

49ers and Raiders Break Even in Preseason Finale; Five Takeaways from #SFvsLV
The San Francisco 49ers made the quick trip to Las Vegas, Nevada to round out the preseason schedule against the Raiders on Friday evening. Head coach Kyle Shanahan stuck to his plan to play a number of expected starters in the finale which included QB1 Brock Purdy, wide receiver Deebo Samuel Sr., tight end George Kittle, defensive lineman Javon Hargrave and cornerback Deommodore Lenoir, among others. Players not suited up for this game included defensive lineman Nick Bosa, cornerback Charvarius Ward, running back Elijah Mitchell, fullback Kyle Juszczyk, linebacker Fred Warner and wide receiver Ricky Pearsall.
