With the major offseason roster-building opportunities in the rearview mirror, NFL analysts are taking stock of the changes made by all 32 clubs to position themselves for a successful 2024 campaign. The San Francisco 49ers revamped a number of position groups over the course of the last few months, bringing in experienced players to the defensive line, secondary and linebacker corps in free agency before adding a highly-touted wideout, offensive linemen and corner via the draft.

Christian McCaffrey Plays Piano to Honor U.S. Military | Off the Field
On this year's Memorial Day, Christian McCaffrey displayed his talents on the keys to honor the U.S. military. The San Francisco 49ers running back performed an acoustic version of Zach Bryan's "El Dorado" alongside his future brother-in-law, pianist Gus Culpo.
The song "El Dorado" has a special significance, since McCaffrey teamed up with the Grammy-nominated country music star to support America's military community through music.

The San Francisco 49ers zeroed in on defensive needs in free agency, placing a special emphasis on the defensive line early and then adding at linebacker and to the secondary. One of the more notable signings of the free agency period was former 2021 All-Pro linebacker De'Vondre Campbell, who comes to The Bay via the Green Bay Packers.
