49ers Home Opener Set for Week 1 vs. New York Jets on 'MNF'
The San Francisco 49ers are kicking off the year at Levi'sĀ® Stadium and in primetime! For the first time since 2020, the red and gold will begin their season at home as they welcome in the New York Jets for a "Monday Night Football" matchup.

49ers Sign DL Shakel Brown, OL Chris Hubbard; Waive Two Linemen
The San Francisco 49ers today announced that the team has signed DL Shakel Brown and OL Chris Hubbard to one-year deals. In order to make room on the roster, the team waived DL Earnest Brown IV and OL Corey Luciano.
Brown (6-3, 295) originally entered the NFL after signing with the Tennessee Titans as an undrafted free agent on May 12, 2023. After spending the 2023 season on the Injured Reserve List, he was waived by the Titans on May 7, 2024.

Nick Sorensen Talks New DC Role; 3 Takeaways from Rookie Minicamp
For the first time since being named the San Francisco 49ers defensive coordinator, Nick Sorensen discussed his new position, responsibilities and expectations as he takes over as the team's defensive playcaller. Sorensen is entering his third season with San Francisco, spending the 2022 season as a defensive assistant and last year as a defensive passing game/nickel coach. He takes over after working under former defensive coordinators DeMeco Ryans (2022) and Steve Wilks (2023).

5 Things to Know: Running Back Isaac Guerendo
In the fourth round of the 2024 NFL Draft, the San Francisco 49ers selected Isaac Guerendo from the University of Louisville with the 129th-overall pick.
"I'm excited to get to work," Guerendo said after being drafted.
