The San Francisco 49ers continue to be hit by the injury bug early in the 2024 season. Coming off their 27-24 loss to the Los Angeles Rams in Week 3, head coach Kyle Shanahan delivered some more tough news regarding a big-time playmaker on the defensive line. The team initially thought Javon Hargrave exited Sunday's NFC West opener with a triceps contusion, however, further examination revealed the ninth-year pro actually partially tore his triceps and will "likely" be out for the remainder of the 2024 season.

Jauan Jennings Nominated for FedEx Air & Ground Player of Week 3
San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Jauan Jennings is in the mix for FedEx Air & Ground Player of Week 3 after a career-high in receptions (11), receiving yards (175) and touchdowns (three) against the Los Angeles Rams. By recording those impressive numbers, he became just the second player in franchise history to register 10-or-more receptions, 150-or-more receiving yards and three-or-more receiving touchdowns in a single game, joining wide receiver Jerry Rice, who accomplished the feat three times.

Offensive Highlights
- Quarterback Brock Purdy completed 22-of-30 passing attempts for 292 yards and three touchdowns with a passer rating of 137.1 and added 10 rushes for 41 yards on the ground.
- Purdy's three passing touchdowns give him four this season and 48 in his career. It marked his seventh career game with three-or-more passing touchdowns and the first since he threw four passing touchdowns versus the Arizona Cardinals in Week 15 of the 2023 season.
