George Kittle and 49ers Teammates Spread Joy at Children's Hospital Visit | Off the Field

Recently, George Kittle, Jordan Mason, Spencer Burford and other players from the San Francisco 49ers took a heartwarming trip to a local children's hospital, bringing joy and smiles to young patients and their families. The players visited multiple rooms, handing out 49ers goodie bags, blankets and fun games like Uno and Legos.

"We got to go room to room, hang out with some awesome kids who are going through some really tough times. Just try to put some smiles on faces," Kittle said. "And honestly, they put a lot of smiles on my face. It was just a really wonderful experience today."

The visit was not only about gifts, it was also a chance for connection. Kittle shared a memorable moment with a young patient who built his own custom PC. "I'm a big video game guy. I thought that was really cool, because it looked nicer than the PC that I actually have myself. That was really cool." Kittle said. "Another special moment was when a girl called her dad to rub it in his face that the 49ers stopped by to visit her."

Wide receiver Chris Conley echoed Kittle's feelings, highlighting the emotional impact of their visit.

"We had the opportunity to spend some time with the kids and their families, give them some gifts and some words of encouragement, and really just to be around people and spread some joy," Conley said. "We enjoyed it. It was amazing."

Conley also recalled a touching moment from the day when a patient sang for the players, saying, "That was just a special moment. Because normally, you go into a room and you're thinking of how you can bring smiles on people's faces, but when we were sung to today, it was a moment of pause for all of us, it was emotional."

Conley added, "Every single one of those smiles that we saw from those kids will stick with me, and it makes me think of my kids."

The players' commitment to giving back reflects their deep-rooted values and the joy the team finds in uplifting others. The moments they spent making memories with the children and their families helps make a lasting impact in the community they serve.
