The San Francisco 49ers had two players selected to the 2019 Pro Bowl in Orlando, FL. FB Kyle Juszczyk was selected as a starter, his third-consecutive appearance, and TE George Kittle was selected as a reserve, marking his Pro Bowl debut. In addition, DL DeForest Buckner, K Robbie Gould and LB Mark Nzeocha were selected as alternates.
A six-year veteran who signed with the 49ers as a free agent in 2017, Juszczyk is making his third-consecutive trip to the Pro Bowl (2017-18) and second straight as a member of the 49ers. In 14 games played this season (12 starts), he has registered six carries for 21 yards (3.5 average) and 29 receptions for 309 yards (10.7 average) and one touchdown.
Kittle earns his first trip to the Pro Bowl in only his second NFL season as he's started all 14 games and registered 72 receptions for 1,154 yards (16.0 average) and four touchdowns this season. His 1,154 yards on the year rank second in the NFL among tight ends and 10th among all players, as he set the single-season franchise record for most receiving yards by a tight end.
