Guy McIntyre is in his 22nd season in the front office of the 49ers and his 15th as director of alumni relations.
In his role, McIntyre coordinates alumni events, gameday responsibilities for the team's four alumni coordinators (Steve Bono, Dan Bunz, Jesse Sapolu and Eric Wright) and both Alumni Weekend and Hall of Fame Weekend. He also distributes information from the NFL and works with alumni on the different NFL programs that are specifically geared to alumni.
Prior to joining the 49ers, McIntyre was an offensive line coach with the Rhine Fire of the World League in 2002 and at Menlo College from 2004-06.
A third-round pick (73rd overall) in the 1984 NFL Draft by San Francisco, McIntyre saw action in 145 games (97 starts) with the 49ers over 10 seasons (1984-93). A three-time Super Bowl champion (1984, 1988-89), McIntyre earned All-Pro and Pro Bowl honors in five consecutive seasons (1989-93) throughout his time with the 49ers.
McIntyre is married to his wife, Kimberly, and has five children, Dejon, Mallory, Arial, Alexa and Bailey, and four grandchildren, Amariah, Averey, Kellen and Andrew.
