Biography
Austin Moss II is in his first season as senior director, player affairs & engagement. He previously served six seasons (2018-23) as the director of player engagement. In his role, he creates and implements a player development ecosystem that fosters high performance and drives the personal and professional growth of all players on the 49ers roster. Moss II oversees all player programming, including rookie development, team-building and mental health initiatives and family/significant other programming. He is responsible for creating, developing, and nurturing trust with the players while enhancing the overall team culture. Moss II also helps players with the transition process both into and out of the NFL through continuing education, financial education, and providing assistance in dealing with personal and family matters through player programs.
