Earlier this year my wife scheduled me a dermatologist appointment for a skin check, and I did not pass. I had two moles removed from my abdomen that came back from the lab as precancerous. Never in a million years did I think I would fail, especially as an African American and a young athlete, skin cancer was never stressed to me and I would like to help change that for today's youth! Prevention, skin checks and research are important and can save lives.
My dad has had MS since 2004, and I've seen the transformation firsthand on how it has impacted his life. I want to bring awareness to this disease.
My good friend/manager Jay's daughter was diagnosed with Epilepsy when she was 4 months old. She would have up to 100 seizures a day. As no medicine was working, Aria's parents decided for her to go through with brain surgery in Santa Clara to remove a piece of her brain that was causing seizures. Fast forward 1.5 years and she is seizure free.
Uncle served 3 tours and has been a positive influence on me.
