49ers Name Coach Steven Zenk of North Salinas H.S. Coach of the Week*
The San Francisco 49ers Charlie Wedemeyer Coach of the Week award presented by Kelly-Moore Paints for week nine goes to Steven Zenk from North Salinas High School.
This past Friday night, the Vikings upset Gilroy high school 42-12.
The Vikings scored a pair of defensive touchdowns - one from Jose Rodriguez on a 24-yard interception return and one from Jacob Plascencia, who returned a fumble 7 yards.
In addition to being named Coach of the Week, Coach Zenk and the North Salinas football program will now receive $1,000 from the 49ers Foundation, along with a $500 gift certificate from Kelly-Moore Paints to go towards beautifying North Salinas High School.
