The San Francisco 49ers look to continue the longest active winning streak in the NFL in their Week 17 season finale against the Los Angeles Rams. Since Jimmy Garoppolo became the team's starting QB, the 49ers have been a perfect 4-0 with hopes to build momentum heading into the offseason.

For the first time this season, the 49ers enter the contest with an empty injury report. Here's a list of the 49ers inactives: Max McCaffrey, Jeremy McNichols, Antone Exum, Pita Taumoepenu, Aaron Lynch, Leger Douzable, and D.J. Jones.
The Rams, who have clinched the NFC West, will make their first postseason appearance in 14 seasons. Rams head coach Sean McVay announced on Wednesday the decision to sit several starters against the 49ers, including quarterback Jared Goff, running back Todd Gurley, and defensive tackle Aaron Donald among others. Quarterback Sean Mannion will start for the Rams at quarterback. Goff will remain active and serve as the Rams backup.

FIRST QUARTER ("--" denotes a new possession)
San Francisco received the opening kickoff. Marquise Goodwin took the handoff for a 10-yard gain to start the drive, followed by two short back-to-back runs by Pierre Garçon. On 3rd-and-4, Jimmy Garoppolo found George Kittle wide open up the middle for a 44-yard gain.
A series of three incomplete passes intended for Aldrick Robinson, Matt Breida and Kendrick Bourne forced a 49ers field goal.
Robbie Gould connected on a 33-yard field goal to put the 49ers up 3-0. (12:13)
Robbie Gould's field goal tied Josh Brown at 29th overall with 1,395 career points.

The 49ers forced a quick 3-and-out on the Rams opening drive.

Garoppolo connected with Kittle for 17 yards to start to the drive. On the ensuing play, Garoppolo found Marquise Goodwin mid-field for a 20-yard gain.
Breida split two runs for a gain of 14 yards followed by a 12-yard pickup by Hyde.
Garoppolo found Goodwin wide open up the right sideline for the 8-yard score. Gould's PAT extended the 49ers lead, 10-0. (5:23)
Garoppolo went a perfect 5-of-5 for 56 yards on the drive.

Garoppolo threw a dart to Trent Taylor in traffic for a gain of 14 yards to start the drive. On the following play, Garoppolo's pass intended for Goodwin was intercepted by Rams cornerback Kevin Peterson for a 38-yard return.

After two short pick-ups by Tavon Austin and Lance Dunbar, A roughing the passer penalty on DeForest Buckner moved the Rams to the 8-yard line on what would have been a fourth down.
On 3rd-and-goal, Adrian Colbert broke up a crucial pass intended for Josh Reynolds in the end zone to force a Rams fourth down.
Rams kicker Sam Ficken's field goal cut the 49ers lead, 10-3. (0:37)
--SECOND QUARTER
Two short gains by Breida followed by an incompletion brought up the 49ers first fourth down of the contest.

Buckner has been ruled as questionable with a chest injury.
On 3rd-and-5, Mannion found Michael Thomas for a 6-yard game the first down. On the ensuing play, K'Waun Williams stopped Brown for a loss of four yards. Two short gains later, the Rams were forced their third punt of the game.

A gain of 6 yards by Hyde opened up the 49ers drive. Kendrick Bourne's number was called on a 12-yard reception up the middle. Brieda broke tackles to add on two back-to-back runs of 12 and 15 yards, respectively. Garoppolo dialed up a deep ball up the left sideline for Goodwin, who stepped out of bounds on the reception. Goodwin had his man beat but couldn't get both feet in to make the catch.
On 3rd-and-10, Garoppolo found Taylor again up the middle for a 15-yard gain. Two short gains by Hyde and Kittle brought up another 49ers third down. On 3rd-and-3, Garoppolo evaded pressure with a ridiculous pirouette, scrambled to his left and fired a pass to Aldrick Robinson, but Robinson couldn't hang on.
Gould connected on a 48-yard field goal of the day to extend the 49ers lead 13-3. (5:05)

After a series of short completions, Sheldon Day recorded his first sack as a member of the 49ers to end the Rams drive.

A 13-yard punt return by Taylor started the 49ers drive on their own 43. On 1st-and-10, Garoppolo found Kittle who shook off a defender for a 35-yard catch-and-run. Kittle now has 100 yards on the day, a career-high for the rookie.
Two plays later, Garoppolo looked for Goodwin over the middle, but as the ball arrived, Rams defensive back Blake Countess delivered a vicious hit to the receiver's head. The ball fell incomplete, a flag came flying in immediately and Goodwin remained down on the field for an extended period of time. He was eventually carted off before giving a "thumbs up" to the crowd.
On the following play, Hyde powered up the middle, pushed by nearly the entire 49ers offense into the end zone for an 8-yard touchdown to make the score 20-3. (1:23)
Hyde's score marked his seventh of the season, a new single-season career-high.

Mannion drove the Rams down the field following 26 and 19-yard completions. On 1st-and-10 on their own 25, Buckner forced a sack fumble on Mannion that was recovered by Solomon Thomas.

With 0:18 left on the clock, Garoppolo attempted to find Kendrick Bourne down field that was intercepted by Kevin Peterson. Peterson fumbled but then recovered the ball on the 2-yard return.

Mannion threw a bomb downfield to Thomas to was hit out of bounds by Adrian Colbert on the Rams own 3 yard line.
Ficken connected on the Rams second field goal of the day to make the score 20-6. (:01)

THIRD QUARTER
Two short gains and an incompletion brought up the Rams fifth punt of the game.

Garoppolo connected on passes to Hyde, Jusczcyk and Breida to move the 49ers to close to mid-field.
On 3rd-and-5, a dropped pass by Kittle forced a 49ers punt.

Day met Brown for a loss of 3 yards to start the Rams drive. A false start penalty moved the Rams back to their own 4-yard line. On 3rd-and-12, Dontae Johnson stopped Gerald Everett for a 6-yard gain to force another Rams punt.
The 49ers have limited the Rams to just 29 yards rushing.

Brieda broke a tackle and opened up the drive with an 11-yard gain. Three plays later, Garoppolo connected with Bourne up the middle for a 16-yard gain. On 2nd-and-10, Garoppolo connected with Garrett Celek on a back shoulder throw up the left sideline for a 28-yard gain.
On the following play, Hyde took the carry to the left sideline for the 5-yard touchdown. Gould's extra point extended the 49ers lead, 27-6. (6:19)
With his extra point, Gould passed a single-season career-high with 144 points on the year.

Brown opened up the series with a 20 yard run up the left sideline, followed by back-to-back gains of 5 yards. A face mask penalty on Lance Dunbar moved the Rams back to their own 40. On the following play, Mannion connected with Evrett on an 8-yard catch and run, before Ahkello Witherspoon forced a fumble that was recovered by K'Waun Williams.

Chunk plays by Juszczyk, Brieda and Hyde moved the 49ers to the Rams 13 yard line.
FOURTH QUARTER
Garoppolo found Robinson up the middle for a 12-yard touchdown. The 49ers are running away with the game, 34-6. (15:00)
Garoppolo is now 19-of-31 passing for 260 yards and two touchdowns.

An 8 yard gain by Austin followed by an 11-yard gain by Reynolds moved the Rams into 49ers territory. On 3rd-and-1, Marsh stuffed Brown at the line of scrimmage. Going for it on 4th-and-1, a quarterback keep, extended the Rams drive.
Passes to Derek Carrier, Austin, Dunbar and Reynolds moved the Rams to the 49rs 8-yard line. On 1st-and-goal Dunbar cut up the middle for the Rams first touchdown of the game. The 49ers lead, 34-13. (6:47)

After a 5-yard carry by Hyde, two incomplete passes forced the 49ers third punt of the day.
During the 49ers punt, Everett was charged with running into the kicker, giving the 49ers a fresh set of downs.
On 3rd-and-2, Garoppolo found Breida on a short pass to who went on to find the open field for a 32-yard catch-and-run. Breida now has 104 total yards on the day.
On the following play, Hyde fumbled on a carry up the middle that was recovered by Rams linebacker Bryce Hager.

Following two short gains by Brown, on 3rd-and-4, Elvis Dumervil leveled Manion, registering his 105.5 career sack.

A 6-yard carry by Hyde closed out the 49ers final drive. The 49ers took a knee for their final possession of the 2017 season.
The 49ers marked their longest winning streak to end a regular season since 2013, when San Francisco won their final six regular season games. It is the eigth time in franchise history the 49ers would close out a regular season with a winning streak of five or more games.
