Visit like a pro with San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle's itinerary for the best day in Nashville, Tennessee.

During the NFL offseason, "The People's Tight End" spends his time in Nashville to rest, recover and recharge. Kittle also hosts Tight End University annually in Nashville, and has gotten pretty familiar with the Tennessee town.

"Nashville is a fantastic place," Kittle said. "From the food, to the people, to the activities, to the energy every single day, it's a wonderful place to be. I'm excited for all the Niners fans who are going to come support us at the preseason game, because you guys can get a little taste of what I get to experience every off season."

Lunchtime Recommendations

"The Row Kitchen & Pub is one of my favorite spots," Kittle said. "They've got live music all the time. Another one is Edley's Bar-B-Que – delicious."

• The Row Kitchen & Pub: Row Poppers, deep fried hickory bacon and jalapeno pimento in a maple bourbon glaze
• Edley's Bar-B-Que: BBQ Tacos

Evening Dining

"My favorite restaurant, if you're looking for a nice steak house, Bourbon Steak by Michael Mina, which you guys know is in The Bay sometimes," Kittle said. "Bourbon Steak is in downtown Nashville, I'm a huge fan. Anything on the menu is fantastic."

Must-Do Activities

"Anything that's going on at the Bridgestone Arena," Kittle said. "So hockey, concerts, any of that stuff. Or just being on Broadway is a fantastic time. You guys are gonna love it. Live music everywhere, good energy everywhere. You're gonna have a great time."
