Q: When you were a kid, what were you afraid of?
A: My father. I think most kids are afraid of their parents, especially their father. It's wasn't fun getting into trouble and then having to answer to him.
Q: When you think about Ohio State, what immediately comes to mind?
A: You mean The Ohio State? Tradition, winning and fans. Those are the first words that come to my mind.
Q: What is the best nickname ever given to you?
A: Nasty Nate, Nate Dog, those are the two most common ones. Lockdown, I can't forget about Lockdown. My friend gave me that one, you know why…
Q: What is your golf handicap?
A: I'm still working on it. I'm trying to get it down. Right now, I'm shooting anywhere from the mid 80's to lower.
Q: What's the strength of your golf game?
A: Probably driving, I drove a ball 390 yards one time, downhill and downwind. It was the perfect situation.
Q: What is the best golf course you ever played?
A: The Ginn Reunion Resort in Orlando, Florida. That's where they have a women's LPGA tournament.
Q: Who was your sports idol growing up?
A: Walter Payton.
Q: Besides being a football player, when you were growing up, what did you want to be?
A: I always wanted to play football, but when I retire, I'm going to try to play golf.
Q: What's the first thing you do when you go online?
A: Check my email.
Q: What was your favorite birthday gift from last year?
A: My wife bought me a racecar track set, a racecar game on PlayStation 3 and she bought me racecar lessons.
Q: What is your perfect meal?
A: Chicken Parmigiana with extra cheese and extra marinara on the spaghetti at the Olive Garden.
Q: Who is the toughest receiver in the NFL to cover one-on-one?
A: Marvin Harrison. He's the best in my opinion, best in the game besides Jerry Rice.
Q: Where is the best vacation spot in the world?
A: I think Hawaii.
Q: What CD is in your car right now?
A: Lil Wayne, Tha Carter 3 and a whole bunch of mixtapes.
Q: What is your favorite thing to do with your family?
A: Relax, chill, play with my kids or go to an amusement park or something.
Q: What is your most cherished possession in your house?
A: I don't have anything I really cherish like that. I'm not into material things.
Q: What is your gameday ritual?
A: Before the game I watch Any Given Sunday to see Al Pacino's speech. The whole speech is motivational, it gets me ready for the game.
