- A Levi's® Stadium Sellout
There are ways to try to snag single-game tickets to San Francisco 49ers games, and they're detailed here. But, as team chief operating officer Al Guido told us, the Dallas Cowboys and New York's Jets and Giants each failed to sell out their new venue in advance of its inaugural season. Levi's® Stadium hasn't hosted an event yet, but it's already ahead of the game.
(1 of 3) Thank you @49ers Faithful. Today's announcement would not have been possible without your support. This process began in early 2012 — Al Guido (@al_guido85) July 1, 2014
(2 of 3) and after 20K face-to-face meetings our season ticket inventory is sold out for the 2014 season. We are excited to announce two — Al Guido (@al_guido85) July 1, 2014

Guido also had this to say to 49ers.com senior reporter Taylor Price:
"Without the fan's support, without them taking a leap of faith in terms of what they were buying was worth it, this would never have been a reality. We have a $1.3 billion-dollar venue and without the support of the fans, we wouldn't be here. We really wouldn't be here. The stadium wouldn't exist – it's their stadium. We're just the stewards of it that work for the team.
"We kept telling them, 'Let us tell you about the building. I believe that you'll find the value.' And they did. It's going to be a really neat moment when we announce something that's never been done before, especially as it relates to a seat-license campaign in a new stadium. Dallas, the New York Jets and Giants – none of them sold out every single seat before they opened up their venue and we're going to be able to say that we did and that's a testament to the fans."
