On Wednesday night in Los Angeles, one of the greatest players in NBA history will lace up his sneakers for the last time.
Although Kobe Bryant has been a thorn in the Bay Area's side for the last two decades, the recent combination of the Warriors historic successes and the Lakers decline should make that first sentence easier to swallow for locals reading this.
To honor "The Black Mamba" and his storied career, Nike produced a commercial featuring high-profile athletes sharing their parting thoughts on the five-time world champ.
Included in the spot were such international stars as LeBron James, Tiger Woods and Roger Federer. Another celeb you might recognize is none other than Niners linebacker NaVorro Bowman.
"'No one likes me?' So what? He's going to make you like him," Bowman said during his airtime.
Bowman later posted a link to the video on Twitter with a caption reading, "Fortunate to be apart of @Nike and saluting one of my favorite players ever the Black Mamba @kobebryant."
