For a third consecutive year, 49ers inside linebacker NaVorro Bowman is a first-team selection to the Associated Press' All-Pro team.
Bowman, a candidate for NFL's Defensive Player of the Year honors, is the only member of the 49ers on the first-team.
San Francisco had four selections on the second-team unit.
Tight end Vernon Davis, left tackle Joe Staley, defensive tackle Justin Smith and outside linebacker Ahmad Brooks made the second-team unit.
The AP polls a panel of 50 national media members to comprise the teams.
Bowman was also selected as the NFC’s Defensive Player of the Month for December after he recorded 45 tackles, three sacks, two interceptions, including an 89-yard return for a touchdown. Bowman also added two forced fumbles and a fumble recovery as the 49ers went 5-0 in the month of December and clinched a third consecutive playoff berth.
It was Bowman's first Player of the Month Award. He also became the fifth linebacker in 49ers history to win a POM Award.
