Tarell Brown didn't have the most ideal 2013 season: He missed three games with a rib injury that still hasn't fully healed, and his team finished one game short of a return trip to the Super Bowl.
And he had to locker next to boisterous rookie Quinton Patton.
"He's annoying," the 49ers cornerback said facetiously of his teammate. "He's a young guy who did an amazing job this year, has a lot of talent... He does a great job of being himself, but he's a very annoying locker mate when I got to hear music coming to work at 7 o'clock in the morning to work out."
Now a free agent, Brown implied that he would be happy to return to the team that drafted him in 2007 – even if his locker stall is side by side with Patton's.
"I would love to come back," Brown said. "Like I spoke to my coaches, I enjoy playing with this group: the fight of these guys, the type of work we do during the week, the way guys prepare. It's special here. You can see that just by watching film, how guys fight for each other."
