49ers Players Set to Become Free Agents in the New League Year
As we inch closer to the start of the new league year, it's time to zero in on the potential changes coming to the San Francisco 49ers roster. A number of players' contracts will expire on March 12 at 1:00 p.m. PST and, at that time, those players will become either exclusive rights, restricted or unrestricted free agents.

2025 NFL Draft: 49ers Compensatory Pick Projection
The San Francisco 49ers are slated to have seven selections (with a potential for additional compensatory picks) in the upcoming 2025 NFL Draft as the team looks to rebound from their 2024 campaign. Currently, their first selection will come early on Day 1 with the 11th overall pick and includes a total of four picks in Rounds 1 to 3.
