5 Things to Know: Robert Saleh

Robert Saleh is back in The Bay for a second stint as the San Francisco 49ers defensive coordinator. His hiring was announced by the team a couple weeks after the conclusion of the 2024 campaign and marks the first new addition to San Francisco's coaching staff this offseason. Saleh spent the last three-plus seasons as the head coach of the New York Jets and concluded the year as an offensive consultant for the Green Bay Packers.

Ways to Watch: 49ers in the 2025 Pro Bowl Games

Today's the day! The 2025 Pro Bowl Games presented by Verizon kick off today in Orlando, Florida and will run through Sunday, Feb. 2. Four San Francisco 49ers players - Fred Warner, George Kittle, Nick Bosa and Kyle Juszczyk - are participating in the all-star festivities which include unique AFC vs. NFC skills competitions that showcase their on-field and off-field skills. The week-long celebration will culminate in a 7-on-7 flag football game.

49ers Players Set to Become Free Agents in the New League Year

As we inch closer to the start of the new league year, it's time to zero in on the potential changes coming to the San Francisco 49ers roster. A number of players' contracts will expire on March 12 at 1:00 p.m. PST and, at that time, those players will become either exclusive rights, restricted or unrestricted free agents.
