There are certain types of videos that are guaranteed to elicit an emotional response. The reactions of players getting drafted into the NFL qualify as such. That singular moment is a realization of a dream that many of these young men have had since they first touched a football. It's a validation to all of the hard work that each prospect has put into their craft along the way.
Mike McGlinchey opted not to attend the NFL Draft in person. Instead, he was surrounded by 150 friends and family back home in Richboro, Penn., all of whom eager to hear the tackle's name called. Thankfully our friends at Notre Dame captured the moment when the San Francisco 49ers selected McGlinchey with the ninth-overall pick. The two videos are absolutely priceless.
