Which star NFL players are the top 25 draft prospects most like? Check out the similarities scouts have found.
We continue our "Meet the Prospect" series with one of the top pass-rushing prospects in the SEC, Georgia's Leonard Floyd.
First Glance
The long-levered pass-rushing prospect is climbing recent mock drafts. Some have suggested the Bulldog 'backer will enter the top-10 mix.
Here's why.
Floyd led Georgia in sacks for three consecutive seasons. Although his sack total dipped to 4.5 last year, Floyd produced 74 tackles and demonstrated the ability to collapse the pocket against some of the best offensive tackles in college football's premier conference. Floyd was selected as team MVP in 2014 with his six sacks and was named honorable mention All-SEC. Floyd is also an attractive prospect for NFL teams with the 3-4 defensive front. Floyd played in the 3-4 scheme at Georgia and has unique speed off the line of scrimmage (4.60-second 40-yard dash at 6-foot-6).

The Bulldogs' 45-21 home victory over the then-No. 16 ranked school in the country was a signature performance for Floyd. What the Media is Saying…
"Has the requisite burst to surge past tackles as a speed rusher with underrated strength. He is surprisingly powerful at the point of attack, flashing dynamite in his hands with an effective hand slap to knock away blockers attempting to gain control." – CBS Sports' Rob Rang
"Unique combination of length and athleticism. Extremely rangy with great chase speed from sideline to sideline. Good change of direction for taller player. Long limbs and twitch to spring into a tackle from a mile away. If unblocked, will chase down line of scrimmage from backside and foil run plans. Elusive in open space dodging blockers and sifting through traffic in pursuit of the ball. Has the traits to be highly effective in man coverage." – NFL.com's Lance Zierlein
Fun Fact
Georgia teammates and coaches gave the pass-rusher a fitting nickname, "Flo." He utilizes the moniker for his Instagram account - "@theflo84."
