49ers training camp officially begins at the SAP Performance Facility in Santa Clara, Calif., as the players report for their first team meetings.

August 2

August 5-7
Hall of Fame Weekend takes place in Canton, Ohio. Former 49ers owner Edward J. DeBartolo Jr. is one of eight inductees in the Class of 2016. The enshrinement ceremony takes place on Aug. 6.
August 10
The 49ers will practice at Kezar Stadium, the franchise's original home stadium in San Francisco. The practice is part of the teams 70th anniversary season celebration.
August 12
San Francisco hosts the Houston Texans for a joint practice at the SAP Performance Facility.
August 14
The 49ers first preseason game at Levi's® Stadium against the Houston Texans will be at 4 p.m. PT. Tickets are available).
August 16-18
San Francisco travels to Denver on Aug. 16. The following two days the Denver Broncos will host joint practices between the teams at the Paul D. Bowlen Memorial Broncos Centre in Englewood, Colo.
August 20
The 49ers will play their second preseason game against the Denver Broncos at Sports Authority Field will be at 6 p.m. PT.
August 26
San Francisco will play its third preseason game against the Green Bay Packers at Levi's® Stadium at 7 p.m. PT. Tickets are available).

Spend National Draft Day at Levi's® Stadium at the Yahoo Fantasy Football Draft Party at 1:00 p.m. PT.
August 30
NFL Teams must reduce the active roster to 75 players by 1 p.m. PT.
September 1
The 49ers will play their final preseason game against the San Diego Chargers at Qualcomm Stadium at 7 p.m. PT.
September 3
NFL Teams must reduce the active roster to 53 players by 1 p.m. PT.
September 4
NFL Teams can start to assemble their 10-player practice squad after 9 a.m. PT.
September 12
