Frank Gore's Week 16 effort didn't go unnoticed.
The San Francisco 49ers veteran running back has been nominated for the FedEx Ground Player of the Week following his 26-carry, 158-yard evening against the San Diego Chargers.
Team photographer Terrell Lloyd caught the running back's Week 16 scoring play frame by frame.
Gore picked up 52 of those yards on one play, a scoring scamper less than two minutes after kickoff on Saturday.
He is now just 38 yards short of the eighth 1,000-yard season of his illustrious career.
The franchise's all-time leading rusher is battling the Seattle Seahawks Marshawn Lynch (10 carries, 113 yards and a touchdown) and the Cincinnati Bengals Jeremy Hill (22 carries, 147 yards and a touchdown) for the weekly honor.
Lynch took home the award in Week 10, while Hill previously won in Weeks 9 and 15.
Gore, for his part, credited his best performance of the season to his offensive line.
Now it's time to give Gore his own due.
