Demarcus Dobbs of the San Francisco 49ers has been suspended without pay for the first game of the 2013 regular season for violating the NFL Policy and Program for Substances of Abuse.
Dobbs will be eligible to return to the 49ers' active roster on Monday, September 9 following the team's September 8 game against the Green Bay Packers.
Dobbs is eligible to participate in all offseason and preseason practices and games.
