Sea of Red
The San Francisco 49ers opened their 2014 campaign on Sunday with a road victory. But if you were watching the game on television, it might have been difficult to tell if the team was actually playing 1,500 miles away from Levi's® Stadium.
With thousands of fans at AT&T Stadium clad in red and gold, the 49ers enjoyed a quasi-friendly atmosphere in a typically hostile environment.
Here are a few of the best tweets from Sunday depicting the #49ersInvasion.
Congrats to Gore
By amassing 63 yards rushing against the Cowboys, Frank Gore became the 29th player in NFL history to surpass the 10,000-yard mark on the ground.
The 49ers veteran running back made sure to thank his teammates in his postgame press conference. Gore also received plenty of kind words congratulating him on the feat.
