The San Francisco 49ers today announced they have signed WR Nigel King to a two-year deal.
King (6-3, 210) joins the 49ers as an undrafted free agent from the University of Kansas. In 2014, he registered 30 receptions for a career-high 537 yards and one touchdown with the Jayhawks. He transferred to Kansas after spending two seasons (2012-13) at the University of Maryland. He finished his collegiate career with 72 receptions for 1,112 yards and six touchdowns.
A 22-year-old native of Raleigh, NC, King attended Oak Ridge (NC) Academy.
King will wear No. 4.
