The San Francisco 49ers signed LB Dennis Haley (Virginia) to a future contract.
Haley (6-1,247) originally joined the NFL as a rookie free agent with the New York Jets in 2005. He spent part of his rookie season on the Jets practice squad before being signed to the Baltimore 53-man roster where he saw action in four games. He spent the 2006 season between the Baltimore active roster and practice squad. Haley went to training camp with Baltimore in 2007 but was waived prior to the start of the regular season.
