With the No. 128 overall selection in the fourth round of the 2013 NFL Draft, the 49ers added a Louisiana Tech product, wide receiver Quinton Patton.
The 6-foot, 204-pound wideout ran a 4.53, 40-yard dash at the NFL Scouting Combine.
He also posted big numbers as a senior. The first-team All-WAC wide receiver caught 104 passes for 1,392 yards and 13 touchdowns.
Patton is eager to work with the veteran receivers in San Francisco, including newly acquired wideout Anquan Boldin.
Patton called the opportunity a "perfect situation."
