The San Francisco 49ers have selected offensive lineman Connor Colby from Iowa with the 249th-overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.
Colby appeared in 51 career games with 50 starts for the Hawkeyes, showcasing versatility across the offensive line with starts at right guard, left guard, and right tackle. In 2024, he earned first-team All-Big Ten honors after starting all 13 games at right guard and helping Iowa rush for over 200 yards in eight games, the program's highest mark since 2015.
The 6'6", 309-pound lineman was part of an offensive front that ranked third in the Big Ten and 24th nationally in rushing yards per game (197.2). He finished with the second-most career starts by an offensive lineman during Kirk Ferentz's tenure at Iowa.
